WEIL RIDE DISCLAIMER
Friday 13th JUNE - Sunday 15th JUNE 2025
1. By participating in the rides during the cycling weekend you acknowledge it is a test of your physical stamina and your capacity to complete the routes chosen to ride. You acknowledge that you consider yourself fit to participate and complete the event.
2. You acknowledge that participation in the cycling weekend is at your own risk and that neither Trinity Sports Events (TSE) nor WEIL can be held liable for any injury, loss or damage caused or sustained or incurred as a result of your participation.
3. You confirm without reservation that you are in good physical health and are able to safely participate in the rides throughout the weekend. Should you have any previous or current health conditions you confirm that you have made TSE aware before taking part in the rides.
4. You will obey all laws and observe the highway code and the direction of the appointed ride captains, traffic officers, safety personnel and authorised event marshals at all times while participating in the rides.
5. The use of a music player with headphones whilst cycling is prohibited.
6. You agree to wear an approved cycle helmet at all times whilst riding.
7. The pace of the ride is controlled by TSE ride captains; this is not a race and we ride as a cohesive group, at times TSE ride captains will inform the group of an upcoming section where they can lift the pace or need to slow down.
8. You are requested to ride in single file where appropriate, to be aware of your fellow cyclists and other road users. The rides are being held on a public highways, where the rights of and responsibilities to other road users apply.
9. If you decide to leave the TSE ride group at anytime during the rides, you must notify one of our ride captains before doing so. Please note that once you have left the TSE ride group, we are no longer be responsible for your safety or whereabouts on the road.
10. Mobile support vehicles in the form of cars or motor bikes are forbidden. You may, however, receive support from our stationary support vehicle which is legally parked and does not impede riders or other traffic.
11. You understand and agree that you are responsible of your personal belongings during the weekend. TSE is not responsible for any personal items or property that is lost, damaged or stolen during the weekend (including pre/post weekend travel.)
Cycle Hire Terms & Conditions (if applicable)
• TSE aims to provide high quality bikes for hire. To achieve this we ask that you treat the equipment responsibly and ride the hired bike responsibly.
• You will not hold TSE responsible for any loss, damage or injury (including death) to persons or property with regard to use of the bike(s) and equipment hired.
• You responsible for all bikes and equipment hired and it is your responsibility to keep them safe from damage, loss or theft, use it in a proper manner and not subject it to any misuse or unfair wear and tear.
• Any damage caused due to crash or neglect is your responsibility and will be charged for. Please notify TSE immediately of any loss, damage or theft to the hired bikes or equipment however caused. The Client will be responsible for paying reasonable costs of reparation of any such loss, damage or theft.
